Frequently asked questions

Is it free? Do I need an account?

Completely free and no registration. It is a self-hosted tool for personal use — no platform account is ever required.

What does "watermark-free" mean?

The tool tries to fetch the media version without the platform overlay. Text or signatures baked into the picture by the author cannot be removed.

Which link formats are supported?

Share short-links (v.douyin.com, xhslink.com, b23.tv, t.cn…), full web links, and share text containing a link. Private or deleted posts cannot be parsed.

Where do files go on iPhone?

Safari saves into the Files app first. Open Downloads, tap the file, then Share → Save Video / Save Image. ZIPs need to be unzipped first.

A link fails to parse — why?

Platforms rotate their anti-bot measures. Retry after a moment, or re-copy the share link with all parameters (e.g. xsec_token). Repeatedly resubmitting a dead link will not help.

Is my data stored?

No. Links are parsed in memory and nothing is written to disk. Media streams pass through the server only while downloading.
